Health and Wellness: University Health Services (UHS) strives to be a national leader in college health and wellness providing health promotion, prevention and medical services.

Safety and Support: As a fully accredited law enforcement agency, the FSU Police Department (FSUPD) has many helpful resources and services should you need assistance. SAFE Connection is available when students need a free safe escort on or around campus. The emergency Blue Light Trail consists of over 300 strategically placed light poles equipped with emergency speakerphones and strobe lights. If you ever feel uncomfortable while on campus or need assistance, just push the emergency button to be connected with the FSUPD. You may call the Florida State University Police Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 850.644.1234 or from on–campus phones by dialing 4.1234.

ACE: The Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) is a university learning center, focused on helping students develop the study skills and success habits that are necessary in a large research university and valued by future employers

SLS3140: SLS 1122 is a one-credit course for students interested in honing study skills, developing good study habits, and improving academic performance. Students learn how to learn and apply this knowledge as they develop tools for organization and time management, make effective notes, practice learning strategies, listen actively to course lectures, and read critically.

Reading and Writing Center: The Florida State University Reading-Writing Center and Digital Studio (FSU RWC/DS) offers writing support to all FSU students, including first-year undergraduates, students in all majors, international and other ELL students, CARE students, student athletes, and graduate students across the disciplines.

Advising: Our network of professional academic advisors and college life coaches support students as they establish and realize their personal, academic, and career goals at Florida State University.
